Greenfire Fall Festival

This was an evening where students join us for a variety of activities. We held a pumpkin carving contest, in the spirit of Halloween, and composted the pumpkin guts and newspaper we used through Kompost Kids. The winner received a Bamboo Travel Utensil Kit.

If they didn't want to carve, we were instructing a DIY T-Shirt Tote Bag craft. Student brought an old T-shirt and repurposed it by making it into a reusable shopping bag. While these activities were going on people were also enjoying the fire we had going, roasting marshmallows and eating S'mores.
