21st Century Communication and the Spread of Vital Ecological Information
As the founder of the Cardinal Stritch Eco Club in 2017, I have established a group who works together to contribute to improving environmental awareness and conditions on campus. Our mission is to educate our community on critical ecological issues and deepening personal understanding of sustainable living and why it is essential. Through planning events and establishing a social media presences with innovative and creative digital marketing strategies, the Green Roots will be able to accomplish their mission.
ABOUT ME
Emily Clinton
Growing up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and traveling throughout my childhood, I have developed a great passion for nature. Although I got degrees in business and communication, I plan to intertwine those skills with sustainability efforts, such as creating an eco club. I focused on applying communications theories and strategies into the business aspects of the club, looking at it as a type of nonprofit. Creating content, such as a social media strategy guide, I applied the knowledge I have attained throughout college in order to help the club gain advocates and achieve their mission. From creative problem solving and innovative ideation, to integrated and collaborative strategization, I always bring my strong eye for detail and positive attitude to the table.
